Happy Valentine's Day!

I couldn't resist changing my sparkly pink polish from Saturday.  I decided to go with a red-hot red stamped with white hearts.  For the red, I used OPI's new Red Lights Ahead...Where? from the Holland Collection.  I stamped the hearts with China Glaze Snow.

I normally go with pink for Valentine's Day (in fact, I believe I've worn pink for the past 4 or 5 Valentine's Day!).  What do you think is a better pick for Valentine's Day?  Pink or red?

Happy Birthday to me!

Today I turn 26.  This has been a great year, and I'm hoping the next will be just as lucky.

For my birthday, I am wearing a duo of OPI Holland pinks.

I started with two coats of OPI Kiss Me On My Tulips, then layered one coat of the shimmery Pedal Faster Suzi! on top.  I finished it all with a glassy topping of Seche Vite.

If I can resist redoing my nails before Tuesday, this will be the perfect Valentine's Day mani too!

All tuckered out after celebrating

After weeks of 50-70 degree weather, it snowed today!

Color Pop - Nicki Minaj

I'm ready for spring, and the weather here in MD lately has been feeling much more spring-like than cold and blustery.  On top of that, the arrival of the new Nicki Minaj collection from OPI has my nails begging for bring spring colors.  I love the way these two shades look together, and I can't get enough of Nicki's signature pink: Pink Friday (love the name too!).

I used Pink Friday on four of my nails, and Did It On 'Em on my ring fingers.  I love the combination of pink and green.  It makes me feel like spring (and vacations!) and right around the corner.  

It was a dreary day on Saturday when I did this mani (it actually snowed!), so this helped brighten things up :)

What do you think of these two shades?
