Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

We always celebrate Thanksgiving at my grandmother's house with my grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins, great uncle, and family friends.  I feel so fortunate to have such a great family that comes together every year for Thanksgiving.  This has been our tradition my entire life, and I can remember as a child walking from our house to my grandmother's house with our sweet potato casserole and apple pies.  It had just started snowing and everything felt so magical.  

A few weeks ago, I took the photograph below of my grandmother's garden.  Everything about it reminds me of those childhood walks to Thanksgiving, and the small, wonderful world I lived in that consisted of walks in the woods, awaiting the Charlie Brown Christmas special, and cold-weather holidays with family.
