I PASSED!!! Babbling Brooke is now Babbling Brooke, MA

This is the face of one REALLY happy girl who just passed her Master's defense :)

I'm officially Master Brooke!!  (Or, in other words, Brooke, MA).
And I am ECSTATIC!

I have been really nervous about my defense for the past few days (so much so that I was physically ill), but it went so much better than I expected.  All of the comments were incredibly useful, everyone was really helpful, and we had an excellent conversation.  It was so much less scary and much more productive than I had expected.  It was awesome.  And I am so glad to be finished.  It is like a 200 lb weight has been lifted from my shoulders.  Everything just seems so GREAT.  I feel that this is one of my greatest and most deserved accomplishments.  I have spent many, many, many hours working on this essay and to be standing on the other side, successful, is one of my greatest moments ever.

Oh my goodness, I am so happy.

OPI Don't Think, Just Pink

For my nails, I went with my heart and my reader's great advice and wore OPI Don't Think, Just Pink.  And I made sure to think ('Don't Think' isn't the greatest advice in a Master's defense).  

J got me flowers for Mother's Day from the dogs (isn't that cute?).  They are so pretty... but is that lettuce?  There is totally lettuce tucked in around the roses.  We've been having a good laugh about that.  Apparently the store was pretty picked over, so I guess the florists at Safeway were using lettuce to fill in their arrangements! haha
