Essie Mint Candy Apple, Billionails

Everything about this polish is tempting, from the sugary sweet name to the luxuriously creamy  color.  This is my first Essie polish, and I am very happy with the consistency and application.  Mint Candy Apple applied very smooth and slightly thicker than most China Glaze polishes.  It finished smooth and dried moderately quickly.

I applied two coats of Mint Candy Apple, topped with Seche Vite.  I used Konad plated m12 with Nicole Really, Really Red for the candy canes.  I photographed Mint Candy Apple with Fiestaware Seafoam Green as my background - it matches really well!  Seafoam Green is my favorite Festa color, which may explain why I adore Mint Candy Apple so much.

I also used Essie Billionails as my base coat.  Billionails is designed to "build and maintain healthy natural nails."  I'm going to use it each time I polish for the next few weeks and let you all know how it works.

I purchased Billionails for $1 (!!) at TJMaxx.  Such a steal!
